Exercise Physiology Lab

The Exercise Physiology Laboratory serves as a principal role in training graduate and undergraduate students for professions in exercise and sport science and health and fitness management. The laboratory also supports students and professors engaged in research and the evaluation of health, fitness, and athletic human performance. Students experience hands on opportunities in the laboratory setting and are able to evaluate data collected.  Laboratory capabilities include measurement of mechanical efficiency, movement economy, sub-maximal and maximal oxygen consumption, muscular strength, endurance and flexibility, resting cardiovascular assessments and evaluating body size and composition.
Texas State Exercise Physiology laboratory offers services to our university and surrounding communities.
Dr. Lisa Lloyd is the director of the Exercise Physiology Lab.
